This Privacy Policy explains how SkyField Ag ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the website SkyFieldAgriculture.com, our online Operator Study Guide, the SkyField Ag Pilot Log operations app, and our Android applications (together, the "Services"). We keep this simple because we collect very little.
Information we collect
We only receive information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data needed to run the Services.
- Quote requests & lead forms. When you submit the "Request a Quote" form or the study-guide sign-up, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, email, phone number, business name, location, and the equipment or topics you're interested in.
- Direct contact. If you email, call, or text us, we keep that correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
- On-device study progress. The study guide saves your quiz scores, flashcard history, and checklist progress in your own browser or device storage (local storage). This stays on your device — it is not transmitted to us.
- On-device Pilot Log data. By default the Pilot Log app stores the records you enter — flight logs, application records, chemicals, expenses, customers, and invoices — only in your own browser or device storage. Unless you sign in to sync (below), we do not receive this data. You can also back it up with the app's export tools.
- Account & synced data (optional). If you create a SkyField account, we store your email and the data you choose to sync — study-guide progress and your Pilot Log records — so it follows you across devices and apps. This is held by our database provider, Supabase, under row-level security so only your account can access it. You can delete your account and its data at any time by contacting us.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host may log standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
The SkyField Ag Study and SkyField Ag Pilot Log apps work fully offline and store your data on your device. They only send data off the device if you choose to create an account and sync. Tapping a link inside an app opens your phone's browser, dialer, or email app.
How we use information
- To respond to your quote requests and questions, and prepare itemized pricing.
- To arrange equipment, shipping, financing, and operator onboarding you ask about.
- To send you information you requested, such as licensing checklists or training dates.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Services.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Services — for example, our website host, the form-delivery provider (Formspree) that routes form submissions to our inbox, and our accounts/database provider (Supabase) that stores synced account data. These providers process the data on our behalf.
- Legal and safety recipients, if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We keep quote requests and correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and meet our business and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below). On-device study progress is cleared whenever you clear your browser/app storage or use the in-app reset.
Your choices & rights
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've given us.
- You can opt out of follow-up messages by replying "stop" or contacting us.
- You can clear on-device study data anytime via your browser settings or the app's reset option.
Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults pursuing commercial drone and applicator licensing. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

The study guide is an educational aid, not legal advice. Always confirm current requirements with the FAA and the Texas Department of Agriculture. SkyField Ag is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by DJI.
